As long as it exists, by the righteousness of law and manner, command a curse uttered by society, falsely building hells among the civilization of earth, and including human to god-like fate; so long as the three great problems of our period- the shame of men through poverty, the deception of women through hunger, the paralyzed of children through sorrow- remains; as long as suffocation still goes on; -that is to say, and what still holds a huge relevance, as long as uneducated people and beggary exists on this land, the book Les Miserables will remain useful.
