Les Miserables #2

As I read the second chapter of Les Miserables, I learned how M. Myriel was a kind and generous person. When he found out about the many sick patients having to live in a smaller house than his, he decided to exchange his home (which were bigger) for theirs to prevent the patients to stay in a jam-packed place. M. Myriel also only kept 1,000 out of his 15,000 francs just to help the others. It's a shame, really. All the man does is help and assist others to help lessen their burden only to have people constantly make rumors about him.
